The color of the wine is bright and limpid. The nose is floral and fruity. Very straightforward and direct on the palate, as if biting into a grape. Fresh and light, with a very pleasant aftertaste. Food Pairing: It is a perfect accompaniment to full-flavored fish dishes and charcuterie. Also, try it alone as an aperitif. As with other white wines, Macon-Villages should be served chilled but not cold. It is meant to be enjoyed when young, the wine being at its best after one or two years of aging.
