Extended carbonic maceration extracts all the fruit flavours this variety boasts, and a balanced tannin level maintained early-on, results in mature soft tannins. Hints of black cherry & berries are evident throughout this lightly oaked wine. Pairs well with a wide range of today's lighter meals, such as salmon, fowl, turkey and veal, as well as with traditional heavier styled foods, including game. An excellent complement to robust cheeses.
