The tannins are tight, almost crisp, and the wine offers deep provenance and persistence carried by the distinct acidity. This depth is what stands out the most. Since 2016, a small part of it has been aged in clay amphorae, which has resulted in an even more elegant and refined Flaccianello. As always, it deserves a top place among the single-varietal Sangiovese of central Tuscany and connoisseurs give it time to develop further.
